His Past: Malakia and Ramona started dating when he was 18. It was not long after this that Malakia found out that he was dying of a disease with no cure. Ramona stayed with Malakia untill the very end and during this time he fell deeply in love with her. However, Ramona did not feel the same. On his death bed Ramona lied to Malakia saying that she loved him and would never love another as long as she lived so that he could die happy, and so he did. From the underworld Malakia watched Ramona but was never worried about her loving another because he could tell none of her exes would ever work. When Scott came along Malakia noticed something different, he watched as Scott defeated The League of Evil-Exes and as Ramona's feelings for Scott grew. Outraged by the strength of Ramona's feelings Malakia tried to make a deal with Death. Intrigued by his rage and feelings of betrayal Death allowed Malakia to return for 3 days and gave him the power to summon an army of undead made up of those who died with broken hearts.
